Stafo does not use your face data or photos for any reason other than to record your attendance. Your face data is not shared with any 3rd party. Uploaded content is stored at the online secured data storage and displayed to your organization exclusively during your use of the services.
Stafo uses only secure places of storage, such as Amazon Web Services. Amazon is located in the United States of America. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is designed and built to meet rigorous compliance standards, providing high levels of security for all AWS customers. Every AWS Region is compliant with applicable national and local data protection laws.
Stafo also integrates into the application the following platforms:
Truecaller: It eases user verification, which enables developers to use the new TrueSDK feature to sign up and update a user’s information or verify a user’s phone number-based identity in their mobile apps with the user’s consent.
Facebook: We get aggregated statistics and insights to understand and comprehend engagement patterns with our posts, listings, Facebook Pages, videos, and other content across platforms.
Freshchat: It processes, stores, or hosts Personal Data as a Processor for our Customers while delivering Services. In such instances, the applicable Customer’s privacy statement and our data processing agreement with them oversee the handling of your Personal Data.
Clevertap: A behavioral analytics platform for product intelligence helping Stafo understand user behavior and build engaging experiences;
Firebase: A Google mobile platform, helping Stafo develop a high-quality application.
Sentry: An error monitoring platform helping Stafo discover, triage, and prioritize errors in the application in real-time.
AppsFlyer: A mobile attribution and marketing analytics platform helping Stafo market the application.
Singular for web: It unifies our marketing data sets to provide transparent results and helps us to manage, measure, and monitor our mobile advertising activities.
Clarity for the web: We use clarity for a better understanding of our user behavior.
Stafo does not control third-party platforms, websites, or online services, and Stafo is not responsible for its actions. These platforms, websites, and online services follow different rules regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information. Stafo encourages you to read the privacy policies of these platforms, websites, and online services to find out more about how your usage data may be used by these vendors.
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside India and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to India and process it there. You have a right to access your personal data processed by Stafo and a right to data portability
This means that you can ask Stafo what personal data of yours is processed. You can also ask for clarifications on the information described above, i.e. purpose of collecting and processing, period of processing, and third parties that have access to information. You have a right to request from Stafo your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit those data to another controller, if the processing is based on your consent or on contract and the processing is carried out by automated means.
You have a right to request Stafo to rectify your personal data
This means you can require all the inaccurate personal data concerning you to be corrected. You can also complete the personal data if you feel there is a need to do so.
You have a right to request Stafo to erase personal data
You can request Stafo to erase personal data if its processing is no longer necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected as well as if there are no legal grounds for the processing. For this purpose, you can contact us at support@stafo.in. In most cases, Stafo will erase it unless otherwise required by legislation.
You have a right to restrict the processing of your personal data by Stafo
In some cases, as prescribed by law you will be able to restrict the processing of your personal data, for example, if you contest the accuracy of your personal data being processed or in case Stafo is not interested in processing your personal data any longer, but you want Stafo to do this on different reasons, for example, to bring some claim for somebody and, instead of the erasure of information, its processing will be just restricted.
You have a right to withdraw your consent
You can withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of your personal data by Stafo at any time by contacting us, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. After we at Stafo receive such a withdrawal request from you, we will process it in a timely manner and we will no longer process your personal data unless otherwise is set by law. You can turn off SMS /notifications/reminders directly using the app.
You can request for a feature
We are continuously adding new features to the app. You can raise a request for a new development using the “Request a feature” button on the app. However, Stafo is under no obligation to work on and develop all requests. We also make no promise to commit to a specific timeline for development.
You have a right to object to the processing of your personal data by Stafo
In some cases, prescribed by the applicable laws you can object to processing of your personal data.
You have a right to object to the processing of your personal data when the processing is related to the performance of our task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in us, or we process your data to pursue our or third party’s legitimate interests, and you believe that such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
If you make a request objecting to processing, we will no longer process the personal data unless we are able to demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing.
Please note that when the processing of your personal data is carried out for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to such processing without providing any justification. We will no longer process your data for such direct marketing purposes. You may refer to relevant sections of this Privacy Policy to learn whether we process your data for direct marketing purposes.
How to exercise your rights as to your personal data?
Any requests to exercise your rights can be directed to Stafo by writing to support@stafo.in. These requests are free of charge.
Stafo will provide information on action taken on your request related to your rights specified above within one month of receipt of the request for the longest. That period may be extended by two further months if Stafo is overwhelmed by the number of requests or if the request at issue is complicated and requires a lot of action. Stafo will inform you of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for such delay.
If you have doubts as to our reply or reaction or absence of such, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that is empowered to process such complaints in your country.

The customer shall not, directly or indirectly, disclose Personal Information to any person other than its Authorized Persons (an “Unauthorized Third Party”), unless and to the extent required by Government Authorities or Applicable law.
The customer will be responsible for any changes/omissions/damages done by an “Unauthorised Third Party” concerning the treatment of such Personal Information.
If an unwanted breach is noticed, the customer is required to promptly report the incident to support@stafo.in along with all necessary information.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Eligibility: Participation in the referral program is open to all existing users of Stafo who meet the eligibility criteria outlined on the referral program page. Referrals must be new users who have not previously registered or used Stafo.
Referral Rewards: Referrers are eligible to receive rewards for each qualified referral as defined on the referral program page. A “qualified referral” is a referred user who successfully purchases a Stafo subscription. The referral reward is applicable only to the referred customer’s first purchase.
Reward Distribution: Referral rewards will be distributed as a cash reward credited to customers referral earnings, which may be withdrawn by the customer according to the policy defined in the Referral FAQs. Rewards are non-transferable unless explicitly stated.
Program Flexibility: Stafo reserves the right to alter the reward structure at its discretion. The program limits, the terms, eligibility requirements, and rewards may be modified at any time.
Fraud Prevention: Referrals must be made in good faith. Any attempts to exploit the referral program through fake accounts, fraudulent activities, or any other malicious actions will result in disqualification from the program and possible suspension or termination of the user’s account.
Termination of Program: Stafo reserves the right to terminate the referral program at any time, with or without prior notice.
Acceptance of Terms: By participating in the referral program, you agree to these terms as well as our general Terms and Conditions.
Stafo is not liable to process any refund in any scenario. You will be required to make payment of subscription fees for the use of the application.
Customers are also advised to generate the invoices right after the purchase of the subscription. Customers can also request a GST claim or changes in the invoice (stating a valid reason for the change) by dropping an email to support@stafo.in within a maximum of one month from the purchase date.
Any payments made via bank transfers, cheques, or payment links could take 24-48 hours to be processed. Only post the confirmation of the receipt via these mediums, will the activation of the subscription be done. No refund requests can be initiated during this period.

The Company allows the Users to export the PDF from its account which the User can share with its customer as a statement/reminder for collections.
Stafo will not be responsible for damage and/or delay due to unforeseen circumstances during the transit of biometric devices.
If the User has any manufacturing defects/ issues related to biometric devices, they must report the same to the manufacturer of the devices directly. Stafo is not liable for these defects.
No refund will be provided on the purchase of any biometric device under any circumstance.
One-time support (conducted virtually only) for the integration of biometric devices with the Stafo app can be requested via support@stafo.in.
The Live Track Service enables the owner of a device with the Stafo App installed on it (the “Device”) to track the live location of a user added to the owner’s Stafo Account (the “User”). You agree that no one other than the User can authorize Stafo to share their location with the Owner. You also agree that the Device must be in the possession of the owner of the Device at all times when a LiveTrack invitation is active. Any other uses of the Services are not authorized by Stafo and are undertaken at your own risk. If Stafo has a reasonable belief that you use the Services for purposes other than those listed above, Stafo reserves the right to terminate your access to the Services immediately. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you must not use the Services to stalk, harass, harm, or threaten to harm, or to invade the privacy of, any person.
Stafo will not be responsible for the accuracy of the GPS location because of device faults, use of old devices, internet connectivity, or any other reason.
Permission for tracking live location can be taken by the administrator of the account from the employee via the app. Only post approval by the employee, the location will be tracked for a maximum of 8 hours, post the marking of attendance of the employee. The employee reserves the right to turn off the sharing of their location at any time using the application.
You agree to ensure that your use of the Services complies with applicable laws and regulations in your area regarding the use of location-tracking products and services. Stafo will not be responsible for your use of the Services in violation of any laws or regulations.
Stafo is required by any court, government, or other regulatory body to disclose the information if required, to the extent required by law.
IN NO EVENT WILL STAFO BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOST DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) RESULTING FROM THE USE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT STAFO IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Any use of the Services is at your own risk. Stafo makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the Services or about the results to be obtained from using the Services.
